Sarah Frazelle |
Sarah Frazelle has worked for the Institute for Policy & Social Research (IPSR) since January 2008 and is currently a Research Analyst for the department. She received her Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Kansas in May 2007. Her major projects through IPSR have included: setting up a database and performing statistical analysis on the Kauffman Firm Survey for the Kauffman Foundation; creating a database for CESWEP to analyze the impact of a mentoring program established for women in economics; conducting a comparative analysis report on technical education in Kansas and selected states for the Kansas Board of Regents; hosting focus groups and administering surveys on the economic impact of the Kansas State Fair for the Kansas State Fair Board; and working on the initiation and implementation of the Kansas City Area Education Research Consortium (KC-AERC). She has also conducted several literature reviews on subjects ranging from women in business to best practices in education research to income effects on family units. In addition, she has also taught two semesters of the introductory economics course for over 350 students on the campus of the University of Kansas. She is currently serving as the Assistant Director for KC-AERC. Her work on the consortium has involved research into pre-existing research consortium efforts in various states, interviews with administrators in each of these consortium, coding and analyzing various surveys written for KC-AERC, and writing relevant literature reviews over pressing educational issues.
